
About Jones & Co (Nottingham) Ltd
Charles Henry Jones founded the company in 1909. It originally operated from two small cottages in the Nottingham city centre supplying buttons for ladies’ garments. His son joined the business in 1912 and the company soon developed a reputation for quality and service.
In the 1960’s land was purchased close to the city centre and custom-built premises were constructed which is where the ‘buttons division’ is still based today. Prudent management has led to financial strength, enabling Jones & Co to maintain a large balanced stockholding, extend the existing premises to house the ‘Curtain Accessory Division’. The company today employs around 70 people.
From Strength to Strength.

Owen Jones and John Ashley established the Curtain Accessory division ‘Jones Interiors’ in 1986. John Gretton joined the company in 1987 to develop and run the business. In the early years it was a very ‘hands on’ company with everyone being very adaptable to keep the business running smoothly. Over the years Jones Interiors has continued to grow from strength to strength, building an experienced and dedicated team whose commitment and enthusiasm ensures future growth. New warehousing facilities were built in the late 1990’s to contain our booming product range. While a continuing commitment to staff training, new equipment and machinery ensure our efficiency is maximised with the increasing growth. Jones Interiors received a well-deserved facelift in 2002 and retains the same recognisable image today.
